About Rain Harris
I am a clinically trained positive solution focussed hypnotherapist, psychotherapist and happiness coach. I work closely with you to establish well-being, create a healthy positive lifestyle and embrace joyful living.
As a trained yoga and meditation teacher of 25 years, I enjoyed teaching techniques to children, teenagers and adults to relax, self soothe and use the power of these techniques to feel centred and calm.
I trained as a laughter yoga teacher in India as I had experienced the power of laughter to relieve stress and move away from worries and to instil a sense of lightness and happiness.
I wanted to develop this work and this led onto my training as a mentor, life coach and positive solution focused psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, as I had experienced the results of a positive mindset to help people feel better and improve their lives.

Young people
As a mum of 2 boys, I've personally dealt with challenges, especially those facing young people. I'm very sensitive to their needs and use a child-led approach to gain trust. I can help with a range of issues from school anxiety refusal, self-esteem, confidence, school exams, sleep and regulating emotions.
Laughter workshops
Laughter increases energy. It's great for fitness and even abdominal muscles. It decreases stress, regulates hormonal levels, increases our happy hormones seratonin and dopamines, is joyful, playful and great for connecting. Laughter yoga helps us reach a natural high and is really great fun!
Group work
I work on group wellbeing, team connectedness, team building or work with groups who want to get together just for fun! This includes deep relaxation on chairs or mats, stress release techniques. I run half-day workshops for deep relaxation, gentle movements, breathing to relax, let go and reenergise. Laughter yoga exercises, simple meditations, happy relaxation visualisations, stress bucket emptying alongside tools and techniques for managing life.

What services do you offer?
I offer a wide range of services from individual, bespoke hypnotherapy to restorative and relaxation programmes, teen and children's yoga, laughter yoga workshops for celebrations and team building as well as guided meditation and energy healing.
How do I schedule an appointment and where do you operate?
Scheduling a consultation is easy. Simply contact me via phone or email to book a convenient time for your initial consultation. I'll strive to accommodate your schedule and provide prompt assistance. I operate within the Brighton and Hove area. I can travel to you for your comfort and convenience within 15 miles from Hove or work with you online.
What can I expect during a therapy session?
You can expect a safe peaceful environment in my therapy room or at your own home. We start with a gentle talk therapy where I listen attentively. Then collaboratively we explore positive thinking techniques and solutions to promote personal growth. Afterwards, you'll relax to music on a comfortable couch to experience deep relaxation and hypnotherapy. This part of the therapy lasts for around 30 minutes. I will then slowly bring your awareness back to the room and allow you time to stretch and have a glass of water. Each therapy session typically lasts around 60 minutes.
